Gather all of your materials: copper tape, LED, and a coin cell battery.
To make it easier to build your circuit, separate the legs of the LED and lay it on the paper.
Extend both legs of the LED with copper tape!
Now, test your circuit before putting down your last piece of copper tape to make sure it works.
Place the coin cell battery over one LED-copper tape leg. Next, lay your third piece of copper tape on top to see if the LED lights up. If this doesn't work, move your battery to the other led-copper tape LEG.
Once you have placed down your third piece of copper tape, take another piece and attach it to the sticky part of your third piece of copper tape. This will take away all of the stickiness to create our switch!
Just push down the copper tape that is no longer sticky on to the battery, and HOORAY - our LED lights up!
